I want to stop paying rent by Direct Debit
All leases created in Cubbi prior to the 11 March 2019 only had one payment option: Direct Debit.
If Direct Debit is the only payment method stated in your lease the owner has no obligation to make Direct Debit Optional.
You can send the Owner a request to cancel the Direct Debit schedule:

Log on to Cubbi
Navigate to the Direct Debit page on your Cubbi Dashboard, where you will find your current Direct Debit schedule.

Send 'Cancel Schedule' Request

You can send the Owner a request to cancel the Direct Debit schedule as shown below.

If the Owner approves the request, you will be sent an email notification to cancel the Direct Debit schedule (you'll need to repeat step 1 and click 'Cancel Schedule').
A reminder the Owner is not obliged to approved this request .
