In NSW a tenant can be sent a termination notice when the tenant is over 14 days behind in rent, this notice gives the tenant 14 days to move out of the property.
The Rent page in your Cubbi dashboard recommends when the notice needs to be given and to create the notice. It's very important this is done through Cubbi because according to NCAT (tribunal) many landlords put an incorrect vacate date on the notice or does not allow for the full 14 days rent arrears before sending the notice. This results in starting the process again, losing another 3-6 weeks rent.
