Listing Issue | 3rd Party Uploader - Resolved (currently monitoring)

This entire issue is now resolved and everything is back to normal however there are still a few minor issues we are sorting in the background. For a line-by-line update see below:

Changes to images are not going through:

When you make a change to images in Cubbi (ie. add, delete or change the order) they are not flowing through to all the sites.

Suburb Only is showing Full Address:

There is a mapping issue with the new system whereby if you select to show ‘Suburb only’ on the listing in Cubbi, it is mapping to show Fuil Address. Due to this, we’re currently manually changing these to ‘Suburb on’ manually. If your listing is Suburb only and you notice the Full Address showing please contact us immediately for us to rectify immediately. Fix date unknown but my guess would be 1-3 days

Listing are going to the three main sites at the moment:

Realestate.com.au, Domain and rent.com.au. Listings are not going through to homely.com.au yet.

Internal Laundry’ feature is not supported by AgentBox:

They have said they might create a custom feature for Cubbi or make it a new global feature. I am waiting on a answer to this.

Displaying Contact Agent instead of the Price:

Display price field is now populated so all listings now show the price per week (eg $650) instead of Contact Agent. The problem however is it does not show ‘pw’ or ‘per week’ next to the amount. We expect this to be resolved by end of day.

Updates to Listings not going through:

When you make an update to a listing in Cubbi the changes are now flowing through to all sites, except for Image changes (see below)

Enquiries not going through:

Agents are correctly assigned to listings so enquiries are now going through automatically again for all properties

New listings not going through:

New listings are now automated however they require manual input from our team to click to export the listings to each portal before going live. This is a new requirement from the new system we have been migrated to. We will be looking for alternative solutions in the very near future to have this 100% automated again so there is no delay or reliance on a human. For now, allow up to 3-4 hours for new listings to go to all sites.

Features not mapping and were not showing up on listings:

The following features are now mapping and showing up on sites: Pets allowed, Built in wardrobes, Spa, Fireplace, Entertainment area




Update #4: 4pm 13 September 2023

The listing issue is still not resolved.


The fixes I mentioned in yesterday's update #3 are 80% complete.


We're expecting the fixes to be 100% complete by 6pm AEST (in ~2 hours).


Currently, we're seeing some listings affected by:

  • 'Contact Agent' being displayed instead of the rental price
  • Enquiries not going through automatically (but we're manually forwarding them through)
  • Changes not going through (e.g. if you add an open home time it may not go through)

We're still doing our best to manually update listings as much as possible but many of those changes are either taking a long time to go through to all the websites (realestate.com.au) or not at all.


In summary, you can still make changes to your listing from within your Cubbi dashboard but in terms of when those changes will take place on realestate.com.au is likely to be tonight, worst case case tomorrow morning.



Update #3: 6pm 12 September 2023

The listing issue is still not resolved.


Right now, at this very minute, due to the fixes that are currently being applied by our 3rd party uploader, no listing updates from Cubbi are going through to realestate.com.au (and Domain and the other websites).


We are also unable to manually push them through ourselves. Essentially they have put a freeze on all updates. 


What this means, if you have made a change to your listing or added a new listing in the last 6 hours it may not have gone through to realestate.com.au and Domain.


Please note; I say 'may' because on a few listings, we have been successful in pushing some manual updates through. We're also dealing with a 3rd party so it's not always perfect communication.


When the fixes have been completed by our 3rd party uploader all changes and all new listings in Cubbi should get pushed through automatically to all the websites (realestate.com.au and domain). This should be completed overnight.


When that is done there will still be a lot of testing and monitoring to do but as promised I will keep you updated.


Update #2: 11am 12 September 2023

We're getting close to resolving this issue but it isn't resolved yet.

95% of all changes and new listings are going through to all the websites without requiring manual intervention by us, however, here are a couple of issues that are currently being worked on:

  • 'Contact Agent' - some listings are not showing the price, instead they are showing as 'Contact Agent' instead.
  • Auto enquiry forwarding - This has almost been resolved but we're still seeing some issues with the automatic forwarding of enquiries due to the Agent IDs linked to the property listings. In the meantime, we are manually forwarding through any enquiries that don't get automatically sent through however expect a delay of one hour.

If you make any changes to your listing, after you save it in Cubbi we recommend checking realestate.com.au 30 minutes later to make sure the changes have taken effect. If they have not taken effect reach out to us at hello@cubbi.com.au or SMS our support line to 0483 943 203.


There are a few fixes being pushed around midday today which we are expecting to resolve the above issues (and others). From there we will continue to test and monitor everything closely.


We will keep you updated. This is our top priority.


Summary of original update #1: 12 September 2023

We have a current urgent issue with listings (advertisements) not getting pushed to all the websites due to our 3rd party uploader.


The 3rd party uploader is the software we use to integrate with all the various websites (realestate.com.au, domain, rent.com.au, homely etc). So instead of integrating with each software individually we only integrate with one.


Now the problem is, our third-party uploader was brought out by another company. This new company is currently transferring all the data (all Cubbi’s listings) to their software.


This issue is affecting all changes or new listings to all the websites (realestate.com.au, domain etc).


Historic issues will be deleted from this page.
