Weekly to Monthly rent

Weekly rent / 7 x 365 / 12 = Monthly rent

Explanation:

To calculate a monthly rent, Cubbi starts by calculating the correct daily rent amount:  Weekly rent / 7

We then take the daily rent that has just been calculated and multiply it by the number of days in the year, 365, to get the yearly rent amount: x 365

Lastly, we divide the calculated yearly rent amount by 12 months to get the calendar monthly rent: /12

= Monthly rent

Example:

Weekly rent: $534.38

534.38 / 7 x 365 /12 = $2,322.00833

Monthly rent: $2,322.01

(notice the 0 is rounded up to 1 because the 3rd number after the decimal point is above 5)

Monthly to Weekly rent

Monthly rent x 12 / 365 x 7 = Weekly rent

Example:

Monthly Rent: $4,000

4000 x 12 / 365 x 7 = $920.547

Weekly Rent: $920.55

(notice the 4 is rounded up to 5 because the 3rd number after the decimal point is above 5)
