Rent is paid early but I am still receiving late notifications

If you have setup direct debit payments to be taken 3 days or more before the rent due date and you are still receiving late rent notifications this is a very common occurrence.

Direct Debits, dependent on the banking institution typically take 3 clear business days to reach Cubbi. However, if the payment falls on a Friday, the weekend or a public holiday the payment will not begin processing again until the next business day as the banks do not process payments during non-business days.

If you find that the payment has not cleared after the relevant timeframe and there have been no weekends or public holidays you can get in touch so we can look further. 

It is also important to note that 3 business days is the recommend timeframe where a Direct Debit will clear into Cubbi so if you have the payment occurring 1 or 2 days before the rent due date you will still receive a late rent notification.
