Living History: Proof of address - Application

When applying for a rental property, we ask for proof of address for each of your current and previous addresses. 

For bonus points, we recommend providing proof of rent or mortgage payments too.

Examples:

If you're renting:

• Lease agreement
• Rent ledger (Tenant Ledger/ Payments Ledger it's all the same thing)
• or any formal document that has your name and the property address

If you own your place:

• A mortgage document
• Rates notice
• Contract of Sale (especially if you have sold the property)
• or any formal document that has your name and the property address

Remember, uploading additional documents that show your rent or mortgage payments (6 months worth) will significantly speed application processing time and improve your chances of being approved. Examples: Rent ledger or Bank Statement showing the transactions (no need to show other transactions).
