Uploading Identification

When applying to a rental property, you need to prove you are who you say you are. 

Why?

  • To build trust with the Homeowner and Manager, giving you a much greater chance of getting approved.
  • Photo ID (Australian Drivers Licence or Passport) is required for the Homeowner or Manger to complete a Tenant Check (before they approve you)
  • You'll be entering into a highly regulated relationship (lease agreement) if you get approved. 
  • To protect other renters and homeowners on the Cubbi Platform from scammers and fraud.

Adding Income

When applying for a rental property, you need to provide evidence of your income so the Homeowner can be confident you can afford the rent. 

Homeowners are most concerned about late rent payments, so providing evidence you can afford the rent gives them huge peace of mind, which in effect increases your chances of getting approved.

Adding Living History

When applying for a rental property, providing your living history is essential because the manager needs to prove you will pay the rent and look after the property; knowing you have done so in the past can make or break your application (even if you have not rented before).
