What happens to your Renter Profile information after you apply

When you apply for a rental property with Cubbi, each Renter (someone going on the lease) needs to fill out their own Renter Profile. This is information about you and helps build your NextHome Profile, which lets you:

• Easily apply for other properties again
• Get matched to future homes (if your NextHome Profile is set to “Seeking”)

Your information is only shared with the owner or manager after you submit your application. It is never shown to other applicants in your household. For example, the other people applying with you can’t see your income.

How long we keep your information

If your application is successful and you rent the property through Cubbi, your full Renter Profile is kept for up to 3 years after the tenancy ends.

If don’t rent the property through Cubbi:

• Sensitive documents (like your ID, income and address proof, and tenancy checks) are deleted 90 days after upload, to follow privacy laws.
• Other details (like your references, income sources, and living history) are deleted after 3 years if not used.
