Late invoice notifications

If a tenant is late paying an Invoice (eg for Water), late notifications are sent weekly.

This does not include late rent.  


An Invoice is an item (eg Water) that is owed by the tenant and paid through Cubbi to the owner. Typically used to reimburse the owner for Water but can be used for anything other than rent. Learn how to Invoice a tenant here.

When late notifications are sent

1 day late (day after the invoice was due)

  • Email notification to the tenant
  • Email notification to the owner

7 days late

  • Email notification to the tenant

14 days late

  • Email notification to the tenant

21 days late

  • Email notification to the tenant

28 days late

  • SMS notification to the tenant

SMS notifications continue weekly for a maximum of 23 weeks late.
