How to invite existing tenants?

For Owners

If you have existing tenants, and you want to onboard them with Cubbi, here are the steps:

Log in to Cubbi here

Click '+ New Tenants' on your Owner Dashboard

You'll see this button on the right hand side, next to your property address.

Follow the prompts on the Cubbi form via 'Existing Tenants'

You'll need the below information to hand to complete your tenant invite:

  • Lease terms, including rent due (& frequency)
  • Next rent due date for the tenancy (for example, if they are paid up to & including 31 Dec, then it's 1 Jan)
  • Any historic arrears to be recorded
  • Tenant's information: name & email 

Once completed, your tenants will receive the invite via email to get set up on Cubbi. 

As this is an existing tenancy, you skip the new tenant move-in process, and your tenants simply confirm their details, setup their payment options and  that's it! 

What happens if I make a mistake?

If you make a mistake, you'll just need to withdraw the pending invite and start again: How to withdraw a tenant invite.
