Adjust lighting for capture

Goal

Ensure each space is bright enough for both Magicplan scanning and clear video capture.

You need

Access to all lights, blinds, and curtains.

Steps

1. Open blinds and curtains to bring in as much natural light as possible.
2. Turn on ceiling lights or lamps if the room is dark or corners are hard to see. (if you're not sure, turn the light on by default)
3. Make sure light reaches walls, floors, and corners — this helps Magicplan detect edges accurately.
4. Avoid glare or bright reflections that distort videos or scans.
5. Keep lighting consistent between rooms for smooth transitions.

After

Before leaving, turn off lights and return the property to how you found it.

Tip

If Magicplan struggles to pick up walls or corners, add more light or adjust your position slightly.
