Direct Debit payments take 3 business days to clear before the payment is marked as paid and reaches Cubbi.

Processing times

Direct Debit payments take 3 business days to clear into Cubbi. This is why Cubbi recommends your Direct Debit is deducted 5 days before (not business days) the rent due date. For clarity, payments are marked as 'paid' when the Direct Debit clears.

Weekends and Public holidays

If a Direct Debit payment is scheduled for a weekend or a public holiday, Cubbi will still initiate the payment however the banks will not start processing the payment until the next business day.
