VIC has provided an update from 28 September:
"Private inspections for residential real estate can also resume with one client (dependants and a partner may also attend) and is limited to 15 minutes. Residents who are living in the home must not be there. The 5km rule does not apply when inspecting a house for rent or purchase. You can only leave your home for a maximum of two hours to attend the inspection and you cannot travel into regional Victoria" Source.
Moving:
You are still able to move house, but the curfew hours apply and be sure to be wearing face-masks/coverings, as "services related to property settlement or commencement/end-of-lease (including removalists) that cannot be done remotely are allowed."
Maintenance:
Trades people can still visit homes but this is now for emergency support only.
We will continue to update this Cubbi Help Doc as more information is released.
