Charge tenants for water consumption (done for you)
Cubbi can now invoice your tenant for the water usage on your behalf at no extra cost, just forward the original invoice to hello@cubbi.com.au and we'll sort it for you. (or you can do it manually yourself).
Typically speaking renters are responsible to pay for the water they use at the property. For most properties (not so much in Victoria) you as the owner get invoiced directly from the water supplier/council then you need to get reimbursed from the tenant for the water usage portion.
It can be a little tricky working out the calculation and time-consuming going into Cubbi to invoice the tenant and record the transaction. This service saves you time and frustration.
How it works
- You receive the original invoice from the water supplier/council.
- You pay the original invoice to the water supplier/council
- You forward the original invoice to hello@cubbi.com.au
- Cubbi records the expense in Cubbi for you (for tax time)
- Cubbi calculates the water consumption portion from the original invoice and sends the invoice to the tenant to pay.
- The tenant pays the invoice through Cubbi. (like any normal rent payment except we don't take any fees)
