Charge tenants for water consumption (done for you)
Cubbi can now invoice your tenant for water usage on your behalf at no extra cost. This saves you the hassle of calculating how much to charge your tenant and the manual task of invoicing them.
Update: From 12 Feb 2025, you can now pay your property bills through Cubbi. As a result, this process has been updated.
How it works:
- Email the water invoice: Send the invoice from your water authority to your PayBills email address. How to Find Your Unique PayBills Email
Wait 5 minutes: Cubbi’s AI will upload your invoice and extract all its details.
Review and approve: You’ll get an email and SMS notification to review and approve the bill.
While reviewing the bill, make sure to:
- Tick ✅ the box labeled "Invoice tenant for water usage."
(you will only see this checkbox if the category is set to "Water")
- Approve the bill: Once everything looks good, approve the bill.
After this, as long as you have a Payment Method set up, Cubbi will handle the rest:
✅ Your bill will be paid to the supplier on the Pay Date from your Payment Method.
✅ Your tenant will be invoiced for the water consumption portion of the bill within two business days.
✅ Your tenant will pay the water invoice through Cubbi, just like any normal rent payment.
