How to cancel & stop auto-retry of a Direct Debit

Both owners and tenants can cancel & stop auto-retry of a failed Direct Debit payment.

When a Direct Debit payment fails, it will auto-retry after 24 hours or when the tenant clicks to retry (whichever comes first). To disable the Direct Debit from been re-tried, you must cancel the Direct Debit payment from your Cubbi Dashboard. In this article, we show you how.

Please note, once cancelled, you will not be able to retry this payment again. However the tenant is able to pay via BPAY or NPP.

Note:

  • Owners can cancel a failed Direct Debit payment at anytime
  • Tenants can cancel a failed Direct Debit payment, only if rent is paid up to date
